Limited to 10 pieces, the handcrafted flying tourbillon marks Titan’s entry into haute horology
Titan’s luxury watch division, Nebula, has unveiled its most exclusive and ambitious creation yet — the JALSA, a limited edition flying tourbillon that pays tribute to the architectural marvel of Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal. Marking the brand’s official foray into haute horology, this handcrafted timepiece is limited to only 10 pieces, crafted entirely in 18k rose gold and priced at ₹40.5 lakh.
Rooted in heritage and designed as an heirloom, JALSA is more than a watch — it’s a wearable ode to Indian art, history, and craftsmanship. Drawing design inspiration from the iconic geometry and rich aesthetics of the Pink City, the piece blends classical Indian miniature art with high-end Swiss-style watchmaking.
The centrepiece of JALSA is its hand-painted marble dial, conceptualised and brought to life by celebrated artist Padma Shri Shakir Ali. Renowned for his Mughal and Persian miniature artistry, Ali used centuries-old painting techniques and natural gemstone pigments to depict a royal procession featuring Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the visionary behind the Hawa Mahal.
Inside, the timepiece houses Titan’s in-house flying tourbillon movement, comprising 144 precision-engineered components and 14 jewels, viewable through a sapphire crystal caseback. Complementing this technical feat are architectural bridges inlaid with red agate, and a sapphire magnifier elegantly counterbalancing the minute hand — design details that merge performance with poetry.

JALSA has been selected as Titan’s official entry for the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) — the most prestigious international award in watchmaking — making it a symbolic milestone for Indian horology on the world stage.
